LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday for Raymond F. Comeau at Holy Cross Church following prayers at The Fortin Group Funeral Home.

Monsignor Marc B. Caron officiated. The scripture reading was proclaimed by Jeff Caron. The prayer of the faithful was read by Catherine Comeau. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Maria, Natalie, Carly, Chantelle and Cassidy Comeau. The “Ave Maria” was sung by Vita Fortin and a musical selection during Communion was accompanied by Mona Theriault on the violin.

Words of remembrance were shared by Mona Theriault and Jacques Comeau. Committal prayers followed at St. Peter’s Cemetery. The casket bearers were: Pierre, Fern and Claude Comeau, Danny and Robbie StHilaire and Nathan Theriault.
