FARMINGTON, Maine (AP) — Maine police investigators are planning to update the public on their investigation into the stabbing death of an 81-year-old Farmington woman attacked in her home.

Joining people at the Tuesday event will be a family member of Grace Burton, who died in a hospital last week, several hours after being attacked in her home by an apparent intruder.

Investigators from the Maine State Police and Farmington Police Department will also discuss an informal informational roadblock that took place early Tuesday on Route 4.

Burton called 911 early on the morning of June 21 to report the attack.

Police believe the assailant was injured in the attack.
