AUBURN — Ruth H. Theriault, 65, of 9 Weston Road, Turner, died Sunday, June 26, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin.

She was born in Lewiston, May 24, 1946, the daughter of Manley D. and Arlene F. (Dearborn) Hutchinson and had been a resident of this community for most of her life. She was educated in Lewiston schools.

She was employed for many years at Arno Moccasin Shoe Co. and later for Gates Formed Fibre, until her retirement. In her earlier years, she was a volunteer for the Salvation Army and also volunteered for the United Way through her work.

Ruth enjoyed traveling and loved her flower gardens. She was very proud of her three granddaughters, whom she loved spending time with.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald E. Theriault, whom she married on Aug. 28, 1964 of Turner; two sons, Edward R. Theriault and his wife, Jessica L., of Poland and Mark A. Theriault and his wife, Ethel P., of Lewiston; four brothers, David Hutchinson of Lewiston, Charles Hutchinson of Columbia, S.C., Donald Hutchinson of Lewiston and Timothy Hutchinson of Merrimack, N.H.; two sisters, Kathleen Castonguay of Lewiston and Janice Lovelace of South Carolina; three granddaughters, Morgan, Mercedes and Tessa Theriault; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Diana Theriault; a son, Michael A. Theriault; and two brothers, Ronald and John Hutchinson.
