CARRABASSETT VALLEY — The following is the schedule for the Carrabassett Valley Fourth of July celebration at the town park.

Noon, town pool opens; 12:15 p.m., set up for children’s parade at Tufulio’s parking lot; 12:30 p.m., children’s parade begins and proceeds to the town park; 1 to 5 p.m., music by Kathy’s Karaoke; 1 to 4 p.m., The Roaming Magician Stefan the Great will perform throughout the park; 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., children’s arts and crafts projects; 2:30 p.m., surprises in the sawdust pile for ages 3-13; 3 to 5 p.m., firetruck rides with the chief and staff; 5:30 to 9 p.m., music by the band Coyote Drifters; 9:15 p.m., fireworks by Central Maine Pyrotechnics.

Remember to bring a snack, chair, towel, swimsuit, tennis rackets and sunscreen.
