BURLINGTON, Vt. — Some 2,475 students were awarded a variety of bachelor’s degrees during the University of Vermont’s 207th Commencement ceremonies on May 22. A list of local students and the degree earned by each follows:

Angelina M. Giorgetti of Auburn received a bachelor of arts in studio art.
Joseph J. Platz of Auburn received a medical degree in medicine.
Jason C. Parker of Auburn received a bachelor of science in business administration.
Marya L. Brooks of Bethel received a bachelor of arts in sociology.
Morgan L. Carver of Bethel received a bachelor of science in community and international development.
Lauren E. Conroy of Bethel received a bachelor of arts in environmental studies.
Todd G. Ormiston of Bethel received a master of education in educational leadership.
Deidre B. LaCouture of Lewiston received a bachelor of arts in Japanese.
Tyler N. Tinsley of West Paris received a bachelor of science in elementary education K-6.
Negin Dalpour of Wilton received a bachelor of science in business administration.
Julia M. Knox of Readfield received a bachelor of arts in women’s and gender studies.
