Accidents

Lewiston

* A police car backed up by Michael R. Dumond, 41, of Lewiston collided with a utility pole guy wire, 12:46 a.m. Wednesday on Lisbon Street. The 2011 Ford driven by Dumond and owned by the city of Lewiston sustained functional damage.

* A car driven by Mark Pease, 35, of Auburn crossed the center line, went onto the sidewalk and struck a vehicle parked by Andrew J. Hall, 51, of Lewiston after Pease apparently had a medical problem, 5:38 a.m. Thursday on Lincoln Street. Pease’s 2007 Nissan pickup truck and Hall’s 2004 Hyundai sustained functional damage.
