RUMFORD — Shirley Ann (Finnan) Martel passed away on July 1, after battling a long illness.

Surviving are her husband, Roland Martel; four children, Peter, Paul, Nancy and Terri and husband, Dana; five grandchildren, Christopher, Samuel, Dana Jr., Nicholas and Benjamin; two sisters, Carolyn Riley and husband, Timothy, and JoAnn Hansen and husband, Earle; and many nephews and nieces.

She was predeceased by her parents; brothers; a sister; and a brother-in-law.
