The rosters for the 22nd Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic have been announced and over 40 players and cheerleaders from local schools will be taking part in the charity All-Star game.

The game, from which 100 percent of the net proceeds goes to the 22 Shrine Hospitals for Children in North America, will be played Saturday, July 23 at Waterhouse Field. Kickoff is at 4 p.m.

The East won last year’s game and has taken four of the last five. Representing the East this year will be: Teven Colon and Cody Meserve of Edward Little; Max Cloutier, James Morin and Lucas Witham of Leavitt; Jeff Keene and Ben Wigant of Lewiston; Matt Archer and Colten Miranda of Mt. Blue; and George Turner of Oxford Hills.

Leavitt’s Mike Hathaway is the head coach of the East. His staff includes Dave Sterling of Edward Little, Lewiston’s Bill County and Brad Bishop of Livermore Falls.

The West has won 15 of the 21 Lobster Bowls. This year’s squad includes: Spencer Ross of Dirigo; Alex Hayden of Gray-New Gloucester; Tobey Harrington of Lisbon; Alex Rose of Livermore Falls; Christian Durland and Cam Kaubris of Mountain Valley; Cody Provost of Oak Hill; Conrad Labbe of Poland and Ryan Conant of Winthrop. Mountain Valley coach Jim Aylward is the West’s head coach.

The East cheerleading squad includes: Dawna Daigle, Taylor Morgan and Alyssa Raubeson of Edward Little; Nicole Smith of Leavitt; Ashley Blauvelt, Samantha Hopkins, Rebecca-Marie Lessard and Heather Michaud of Lewiston; Kaitlyn Burdick and Samantha Keith of Mt. Blue; and Chelsea Gould, Montana Mawhinney and Amanda Smith of Oxford Hills. The East coaching staff includes Lynnette Morency and Jennifer Roy of Lewiston and Jessie Becher of Oxford Hills.

The West cheerleading squad includes: Dawn Blackman of Dirigo; Emily Tynes of Gray-New Gloucester; Alexis Raymond of Jay, Hillary Durrell of Lisbon; Alyssa Hamilton and Adrienne Alley of Livermore Falls; Danielle Robichaud and Kassondra Stevens of Oak Hill; and Billy Jo Morrison and Colleen Murphy of Poland.
