PARIS — Girl Scouts of Maine will offer a “Babysitting 101” training program for area girls in grades five to seven.
The program will include getting a baby-sitting business started, playtime ideas for children of all ages, understanding the likes and dislikes of children, troubleshooting and solutions to the most common problems a baby-sitter faces and Babysitting 101 certification.
The program will be in the South Paris area from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 23. The cost is $5 for registered Girl Scouts and $17 for non-Girl Scouts (includes $12 Girl Scout membership fee). Membership assistance is available for the fee.
Space is limited and preregistration along with payment is necessary by Saturday, July 9.
