WALES — Lakeside Chapter No. 60, Order of the Eastern Star will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, at the Grange-Masonic Hall, 322 Centre Road.

Stephanie J. Dupal, the worthy grand matron, will perform the scheduled official visitation. The worthy matron and secretary will open the hall for the official visitation officer at 6 p.m.

The worthy grand matron has appointed Brett Jervis, chairman of an appeal for the Shriner’s Hospitals. Jocelyne Jervis is selling dragonfly pins to raise money for this cause.

Eight members of Lakeside Chapter traveled to Electa Chapter in Bowdoinham for Electa’s ESTARL supper last month and brought home the new District No. 4 Traveling Emblem, “Star.”

“Star” is a black Lab doll with two dragonfly pins in her hair and a star wand. This combines the fun emblems of the worthy grand matron, the dragonfly, and worthy grand patron, the black Lab. Lakeside is the first stop on her travels throughout the district this year.

All members of the order are welcome to come to the meeting. There will be light refreshments afterwards.
