LEWISTON — John P. DiConzo, 77, died Monday, July 4, at the Central Maine Medical Center. He was a resident of Turner Lane in South Paris and was formerly of Rumford.
He was born in Rumford, Nov. 16, 1933, a son of the late Rocco and Mary (Rinaldo) DiConzo. He was a graduate of Stephens High School, Class of 1951. He worked for First National Stores for 33 years and then purchased Razzano’s Restaurant in Rumford, which he owned and operated until his retirement in 2009.
He was a communicant of St. Athanasius-St. John Church in Rumford. He was married in Rumford on Sept. 6, 1954, to Priscilla Blouin, who survives of South Paris.
Other survivors include two sons, Denis and his wife, Brenda and Joseph and his wife, Carmen, of Rumford; and three grandchildren, Joshua Umbro of Milford, Audrey Morin of Farmington and Brittany Wakefield of Rumford.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Frank and Ernest; and two sisters, Susie DiConzo and Millie Giannetti
