OXFORD — Selectmen reappointed town employees Thursday in an annual action.

Michael Chammings was reappointed as town manager, as well as his positions as treasurer, tax collector, road commissioner and assistant code enforcement officer.

Ellen Morrison was reappointed town clerk and general assistance administrator. Rodney Smith was reappointed as code enforcement officer and plumbing inspector. Robert Larrabee was reappointed constable and animal control officer.

Police Chief Jonathan Tibbetts was reappointed as Emergency Management Agency director. Samantha Hewey was reappointed as health director.

The town will hold a special meeting Thursday, July 14, to vote on a $1.5 million project to extend the water line south on Route 26 and build a 500,000 gallon reserve tank at the site of the Black Bear casino on Pigeon Hill.
