RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Lee S. Lawler was celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, July 8, at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Philip Tracy was the principal celebrant. The Rev. Moots Carignan S.S.J. concelebrated. George Gionet was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist. Before Mass, “Swing Low Sweet Chariot” was sung by the Bulger family. Music selections during the Mass were “Be Not Afraid” and “We Will Rise Again,” and were sung by the Bulger family. “Amazing Grace” was sung by Mark Belanger. The first reading was proclaimed by his grandson, Matt Winston. The second reading was proclaimed by his great-granddaughter, Rhiannon Doiron. A poem written by his daughter, Kathleen Tozier, was read by his granddaughter, Asha Doiron. Personal reflections were shared by Tom Bulger. Gift bearers were his grandsons, Christopher Tozier and Jesse Doiron. Pallbearers were his grandchildren, Matthew Winston, Gabriel, Jesse and Asha Doiron, Stephen Gallant, Christopher and Amanda Tozier, and Sonja Deardon. Military honors were rendered by the Maine Funeral Honor Guard. A reception followed in the parish hall. Services were under the care and guidance of SG Thibault Funeral Home, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
