AUBURN — Jimmy Fund patient Jillian Dumais, 4, has been named one of the Jimmy Fund Clinic patient partners for Burger King A Chance for Kids program. Jillian lives in Auburn with her parents, Mike and Michelle, and her brother, Bryson. All proceeds from this program benefit pediatric cancer care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Jillian was diagnosed in 2006 with neuroblastoma. She attends pre-school and enjoys dancing, coloring and playing with Barbie dolls. Jillian hopes to become a veterinarian when she grows up to help take care of animals with her brother.
From July 25 through Sept. 5, guests at participating Burger King restaurants will be asked to contribute $1 to the Jimmy Fund, as part of the restaurant’s A Chance for Kids program, with their purchases. With each contribution, restaurant guests will receive promotion cards guaranteed to be winners, with prizes including all-inclusive resort vacations, airline tickets, theme park admissions and Burger King food.
Burger King restaurants have generously supported the Jimmy Fund since 1999, raising more than $9.5 million for pediatric cancer research and care.
