The virtuosic company Nicholas Leichter Dance will perform its newest work, an outlandish take on “The Wizard of Oz,” on Thursday and Saturday, July 21 and 23, as part of the ongoing Bates Dance Festival. “The performers in this vivid, hyperactive review, adrift in funk and jazz and club dancing, are wonderful,” wrote a Village Voice reviewer.
