BRUNSWICK — The Theater Project’s first Young People’s Theater Camp production of the summer will be “Stuart Little,” playing July 22-24.

“Stuart Little” is the endearing story of a mild-mannered mouse trying to survive in a “real people’s world.”

The 11 actors, ages 9 -12, met two weeks ago to begin class and rehearsal. “We spend a lot of time on fun theater exercises that help the actors understand their characters and the situations they find themselves in,” said teacher and director Karin Baard,  a Theater Project alum. “We’ve come up with our own version of ‘Stuart Little’ that is part E.B. White’s story and part our imaginations and updates. … It’s a lot of fun.”

Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. on July 22-23 and 2 p.m. on July 24.  Tickets are pay what you want, with a suggested price of $6. For tickets, call 729-8584 or visit  www.theaterproject.com.
