AUBURN — Therese “Terry” Myrand of Lewiston, flew home on the wings of her angels July 9, to meet Jesus and her loved ones, who passed before her.
She was born in Berlin, N.H., July 30, 1928, the daughter of Joseph Aube and Lucie Lapointe, being the 14th out of 15 children. She was married to Armand (Rusty) Lessard for 25 years and then married Guy (Daniel) Myrand for 32 years and they shared 15 children together.
Mom was a homemaker most of her life and loved spending time with her family. It was special to her. She also loved music, had a beautiful singing voice and could really cut a rug on the dance floor. As she would say “let’s boogie.”
In her earlier years, she was on a bowling league with her sister, Irene and they were very close, since they were the only two married and had children. Going for car rides and shopping, of course, made her day.
While living her last few years at Montello Heights, she made a very close and best friend with Blanche Judd. They enjoyed many afternoons playing cards with Jackie, Antoinette and the Mrs., as they called her.
She was a member of the Pathway Vineyard Church. She loved reading the Bible and Psalm 19, being one of her favorites.
Mom is survived by eight daughters, Mrs. Leo (Priscilla) Lebrun, Mrs. Robert (Claire) Gagne, Mrs. Michael (Joanne) Albert, Mrs. Tom (Julie) Atchley, Mrs. Daniel (Patrice) Gagne, Mrs. Louis (Mary – BeBe) Fortin, Mrs. Raymond (Joan) Garant and Mrs. Scott (Clare) Brewer; six sons, David and Janet Lessard, Dennis Lessard, David and Celina Myrand, Daniel and Susan Myrand, William and Laura Myrand and Paul Myrand; also 26 plus grandchildren; 19 plus great-grandchildren; sister, Dolores Aube; sister-in-law, Doris Bureau; and a very dear friend, Ruth Andren.
She was predeceased by both of her husbands; daughter, Lucille Myrand; granddaughter, Renee Myrand; and many sisters and brothers.
We would like to thank Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice staff for the special care they gave our mom in her time of need and also to all the special people who helped us so much at her home and visited in the last few months.
Mom we will miss you very, very much!!
