PAULSBORO, N.J. — David Leslie Szott, 64, formerly of Lisbon Falls, died Thursday, June 16, in Paulsboro, N.J.

He was born in Lewiston, Nov. 11, 1946, the son of Henry and Elizabeth Parker Szott. After graduating from Lisbon High School, David joined the U.S. Navy. David served on the USS Bon Homme Richard during the Vietnam War. David had previously lived in California, Washington State, and New Jersey, working as a welder returning to Maine.

Surviving is his father, Henry Szott of Augusta; a brother, Paul Szott of Harrison; two sisters, Pamela White of Boothbay Harbor and Debra Vigue of West Gardiner; his aunt, Blanche Szott; his uncle, Walter Starkey; and several nieces and nephews.
