MANCHESTER — A charity mini golf event will be held Saturday at T’s Golf to benefit the Brenda Marie Foundation, a local charity to assist individuals in overcoming commuting costs and difficulties associated with visiting loved ones infirmed in medical facilities.

This foundation is named after the late Brenda Marie Whitley and was begun after seeing the impact of traveling costs in visiting loved one in hospitals.

It will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is a family event which will include a fun chance to play mini golf with trophies being awarded in three different divisions, but don’t worry about being competitive. The main focus is raising money for a good cause and enjoying time together.

Everyone who competes will leave with something, and there will be a chance to buy raffle tickets for items such as a Bruins puck autographed by Michael Ryder as well as a signed photo of Red Sox star Dustin Pedroia.
