LEWISTON — Muguette T. Gardner, 96, of Lewiston passed away on Thursday, July 14, at Montello Manor.
She was born in Auburn, April 14, 1915, the daughter of Theode and Delia (Simard) Gardner and had been a lifelong resident of Auburn.
Muguette was a graduate of Edward Little High School, Class of 1935. She was an employee of Androscoggin Savings Bank on Lisbon Street for most of her working life.
Miss Gardner was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne, the St. Louis Booster Club, Horizon 55 and the New Auburn Senior Citizens. She was the organist and a communicant of St. Louis Church.
In her younger years, she enjoyed playing cards, attending the theatre and traveling with family and friends. She loved attending family gatherings especially the ones at Thompson Lake. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and caring heart.
She was predeceased by her parents; and three brothers.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Montello Manor for the loving care given to her during her stay.
