LIVERMORE FALLS — Regional School Unit 73 directors voted unanimously Thursday night to ratify a three-year transitional contract with the RSU 36 bus driver/custodian group, Assistant Superintendent Sue Pratt said Friday.
The overall increase in funding for year one of the contract is 4.3 percent, she said.
The increase moves this fairly small group closer to alignment in wages and insurance to the Jay contract with bus drivers and custodians, she said.
The two school systems merged on July 1. The new district has up to three years to develop a new contract for union employees.
