Charges

July 11 at 12:59 p.m., Billie Hodgkins, 47, of Roxbury was arrested by Ptl. Michael Belanger on Lincoln Avenue on a warrant charging failure to appear on an operating after suspension. Hodgkins posted $250 cash bail and was released.

July 11 at 9:58 p.m., Dennis St. Cyr, 39, of Rumford was arrested by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Hancock Street on a charge of operating after suspension. St. Cyr posted $800 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 4.

July 12 at 7:46 a.m., Eric Holman, 18, of Peru was charged by Sgt. Tracey Higley on Route 2 with illegal possession of alcohol by a minor. Holman is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 6.

July 12 at 1:54 p.m., Arthur Muse, 64, of Rumford was charged by Ptl. Michael Belanger on Falmouth Street with assault and criminal threatening. Muse is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 6.

July 12 at 8:21 p.m., James Barbioni, 27, of Dixfield was charged by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Falmouth Street with of violation of bail and refusing to submit to arrest. Barbioni, who was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 6.

July 13 at 9:21 p.m., 14-year-old male juvenile from Georgia was charged by Ptl. Joseph Sage on Waldo Street with burglary and criminal mischief. Juvenile is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 6.

July 14 at 9:11 p.m., Jason Kehrer, 33, of Rumford was charged by Ptl. Joseph Sage on Cumberland Street with violation of bail and terrorizing. Kehrer is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 6.

July 15 at 4:08 p.m., David Hodgkins, 31, of Rumford was charged by Ptl. Michael Belanger on River Street with forgery. Hodgkins posted $2,000 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Oxford County Superior Court on Sept. 6.

July 15 at 8:07 p.m., Jason Kehrer, 33, of Rumford was charged by Ptl. Brad Gallant on Waldo Street with violation of bail. Kehrer who was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 6.

July 16 at 5:03 p.m., Heather Buotte, 25, of Mexico was charged by Ptl. Michael Belanger on Hancock Street with theft and misuse of scanning device or re-encoder. Buotte is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 6.

Criminal Mischief:

July 10 at 5:29 p.m., Sgt. Douglas Maifeld investigated an incident where a door was spray painted on Maine Avenue. The damage is estimated at $100.

July 10 at 7:45 p.m., Act. Cpl. Donald Miller investigated an incident where a wall was spray painted on Pine Street. No damage estimate listed.

July 10 at 11:57 p.m., Act. Cpl. Donald Miller investigated an incident where a brick wall and a street sign were spray painted on Maine Avenue. No damage estimate listed.

July 11 at 7:36 a.m., Ptl. Michael Belanger investigated an incident where a window was smashed on an excavator on High Street. The damage is estimated at $300.

July 11 at 1:24 p.m., Sgt. Tracey Higley investigated an incident where a barbecue grill was shot by a BB gun on Franklin Street. No damage estimate listed.

July 14 at 9:44 a.m., Ptl. Dave Hodgson investigated an incident where playground equipment on York Street was damaged. The damage is estimated at $600.

Theft:

July 17 at 11:30 a.m., Sgt. Tracey Higley investigated the theft of a wallet containing cash valued at $25 from a vehicle on Route 232.

July 17 at 11:30 a.m., Sgt. Tracey Higley investigated the theft of a license plate from a vehicle on the Isthmus Road. Estimated value $22.

Wanted:

Christie Castillo, 36, Bethel/Massachusetts, is wanted on a Rumford District Court warrant for cruelty to animals. Date of warrant: April 15.
