RUMFORD — The Children’s Library will present “A Bug’s Life” on Thursday, July 28, at the Mountain Valley Junior High Auditorium in Mexico.
The theatrical performance of “A Bug’s Life,” sponsored by the Rumford Public Library, is based on the Disney/Pixar film production of the same name.
The musical-comedy, featuring 38 young River Valley actors and actresses, will be performed twice on Thursday, at 3 and 6:30 p.m. The shows are free of charge.
This fun stage production of “A Bug’s Life” has been adapted from the movie and is directed by Susan DeRoehn and Lisa Picard. Also involved in the production are Tory Gordon, set director, and Judy O’Neil, costume production.
“The audience will be treated to bully grasshoppers taunting the audience,” DeRoehn said, “as well as four musical numbers, surprise entrances and a happy ending.”
