SOUTH PARIS — P.C. Laurier “Larry” Bouvier, 91, of Auburn, died Wednesday, July 20, at the Maine Veterans’ Home.

He was born in Auburn, Nov. 16, 1919, the son of the late Alcide and Ophelia Guilbault Bouvier. He was educated in Auburn schools and served his country in the U.S. Air Corp during World War II. Larry was married to Florence Bernier.

Prior to his retirement in 1985, he was employed for Seltzer and Rydholm, Inc. of Auburn. He was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish at Sacred Heart Church, American Legion Post 135 of New Auburn and the Auburn Knights of Columbus Council. Larry enjoyed traveling and playing golf in his retirement years.

He is survived by his wife, Florence of Auburn; three children, Louise Bouvier of Auburn, Laurier L. Bouvier of East Moline, Ill., and Claude Bouvier and wife, Barbara, of Hamden, Conn.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Jacqueline Goulet of Sanford; a brother, Normand Bouvier and wife, Marguerite, of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews.
