What is wrong here? We live in a country where Lady Gaga is the top moneymaker. The film industry is raking in millions of dollars every week. Now there is a major dilemma where those on Social Security might not get their checks in August.
If all the billionaires gave a few million to help pay the country’s debts, the nation would not be in this predicament.
When President Bill Clinton left office, there was a large surplus of money. Eight years of George W. Bush and Dick Cheney and the country was put into a huge, bottomless sinkhole of financial debt. Bush and Cheney’s assets should be confiscated to help repay the damages they inflicted on this country.
Forget giving aid to Africa, Haiti, etc., and start paying attention to the millions of Americans who truly need their monthly checks for rent, food, medicine and transportation.
Entertainers are great when disaster strikes an area. A big production can gather huge amounts of cash to help those in need.
The millionaires should help rebuild this country before it crashes and gets taken over by a foreign country.
