LEWISTON — Constance “Connie” A. Strout, 65, of Auburn, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 22, at Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born on May 9, 1946, to mother Lucy H. Homen and father Clarence Roberts.

Connie loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening, knitting, watching movies and soap operas, and also listening to music.

She worked at Tambrands as a production operator for 28 years, retiring in May  2008 due to her battle with cancer.

She was predeceased by her father and mother.

Connie is survived by her husband of 43 years, John Strout, of Auburn; her daughter, Terri-Ann Martin, of Auburn; one brother, Carl Roberts and his wife, Margaret, of Pembroke, Mass.; two granddaughters, Mindy Parkin of Auburn, and Khristen Greenwood, also of Auburn; one grandson, Randy Parkin of Lisbon Falls; and her five beloved great-grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed and always loved in the hearts of her loved ones.

Connie’s family would like to send many thanks to all the doctors and nurses at CMMC that cared for her during her brave battle.
