TURNER — Gerry and Shirley Lemelin of Turner are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Scott Gerard Lemelin, to Angelicia Patricia Wright, daughter of Richard and Patricia Wright of Newport News, Va.

Miss Wright graduated from Heritage High School in Newport News, Va., in 2009. She graduated from Thomas Nelson Community College in Hampton, Va., in 2011 and is currently furthering her education at St. Leo University, Langley, Va., where she is studying criminal justice, specializing in criminalistics and homeland security. She is also employed at the Newport News Police Department as an administrative assistant.

Mr. Lemelin graduated from Leavitt Area High School in 2005 in Turner. He has served in the United States Navy since 2005 and is currently a petty officer third class aviation warfare-support equipment technician based in Key West, Fla.
