For 12 years, Countryfolk has brought this annual event together with more than 50 volunteer musicians, craft and mineral exhibitors for a weekend of country music to raise donations for the annual awarding of youth music scholarships and donations to the local food bank.

Friday night, July 29, offers a campfire jam session for musicians, their families and the public. Saturday, July 30th offers free exhibitors space for gems and minerals, crafts, antiques and other old, Maine-type exhibits. A pot luck meal starts at 1 p.m. in the covered spectator building along with youth music scholarship awards, a clogging dance demonstration and a special guest appearance by Ginny Palmer at 1:30 p.m. with the country music continuing until 6 p.m.
