LEWISTON — Carl P. Reny, 51, of 142 Rideout Ave., passed away unexpectedly on July 24.

He was born in Lewiston, May 15, 1960, the son of Gerard and Madeleine (Delorge) Reny. Carl graduated from Lewiston High School. He was employed as a meat cutter for Hannaford in Lewiston for 27 years. He was a member of Holy Family Church. He enjoyed watching sports, playing fantasy football and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was also a longtime member of the Past Time Club.

Carl is survived by his daughters, Chantel Reny and her partner, Tim Whitney, and Danielle Reny and her partner, Don Ellis; his parents; sister, Susan Reny and her companion, Sally Bartlett, of Poland; grandchildren, Aizik, Kiley, Makenna and Aleksus; and a nephew, Benjamin Chick-Reny of Lewiston.

He was predeceased by a brother, Scott Reny.

Carl was a loving and devoted father and uncle.
