AUBURN — Memorial services honoring the life of Karen A. Spencer were held Sunday from the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham & Son with Chaplain Lissa Bradford presiding. During the service, words of remembrance were shared by Karen’s daughter, Cindy Vachon, who also read a poem honoring her mother. Karen’s sister, Cathy Bouchard also spoke of how she adored her sister growing up and was a sister she could look up to. Karen’s life long friend, and classmate, Donna Clark, spoke of how much fun it was to have Karen as a friend and who will be missed deeply by her 1961 classmates from Edward Little High School when they gather later this year for a 50th reunion. Following a procession to Gracelawn Memorial Park, Chaplain Bradford recited committal prayers, and then sevices concluded with Karen’s grandson, Devyn Cote reading the poem “The Next Place.” in honor of his grandmother.
