LEWISTON — Timothy P. Coady, 60, of Lewiston, passed away Friday, July 22, at Central Maine Medical Center after a short illness with lung cancer.
He was born in Lewiston, June 7, 1951, a son of John Coady and the late Beverly Coady. Tim attended Lewiston schools, He graduated from Lewiston High School in 1971, and was on the swim team. He then joined the U.S. Air Force.
After being honorably discharged from the Air Force, he worked at Clark Shoe in Auburn for many years and met his wife of 31 years, Donna Coady. Tim was also employed at Maine Bucket, Maine Auto Radiator and up till his untimely death at White Rock Distilleries.
He is survived by his loving wife, Donna; two beautiful daughters, Amanda Coady of Lewiston and Andrea Coady and her fiance, William Young, of Buckfield; his father and stepmother, John and Irene Coady of Auburn; two sisters, Cyndie Ferron and Susan Couturier, both of Auburn; many aunts, uncles, cousins, brother and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
He will be remembered for his love of airplanes, building model airplanes and his train sets, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
He was predeceased by his mother, Beverly Coady; and his grandmothers, Louise “Neena” Hill and Verna Wheeler Coady.
