From Friday, August 5 through Saturday, August 6 the 29th annual Wilton Blueberry Festival will change the face of Wilton, for the weekend, anyway. This signature affair features over 80 key events, from a free concert, parades, vendors, crafters and fireworks.
There are multiple activities happening over the weekend at various locations in Wilton, including: the sale of various Maine-made blueberry products; blueberry picking; a book sale; bazaar; foods and crafts sales; yard sale; free horse wagon rides; Wilton Historical Society tours; children’s games; a dunk tank; laser tag; boat tours; free fire truck rides; street races; a BBQ; flag folding ceremony; free performances Friday night by Birdie Googins (aka the Marden’s Lady) and Debbie Myers & Tommy Thompson; bingo; blueberry pancake breakfast; parade; pie sale; gelato stand; quilt and rug show; a performance by the Moose Creek Cloggers; antique tractor pull; and MUCH more.
The Wilton Blueberry Festival is supported through fundraising efforts, along with financial partnership from businesses and individuals. The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce is proud to be just one of the many partners dedicated to the success of this event.
