TOPSHAM — Midwives Sarah Ackerly and Josie Skavdahl announce the arrival of The Birth Center at Northern Sun, 53 Main St.

There will be a grand opening with an open house July 29 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.  There will be music by the Oliver Watkinson Jazz Trio, Henna painting by Mary Kearns, food, drinks and tours of Maine’s newest free-standing birth center.
