LEWISTON — The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly Brown Bag Roundtable Discussion Aug. 2 from noon to 1:15 p.m. at the chamber office, 415 Lisbon St.

Presenter will be Celeste Yakawonis, owner of The Perfect Basket. Her topic will be “Network Marketing, A Business Opportunity.”

Owning a business can bring control over one’s career path. However, starting a new business can be a daunting task. Evaluating the company to ensure a proper fit and ensuring proper training and development of needed skills are vital to getting a successful enterprise off the ground, according to a chamber statement.

At the monthly Brown Bag events members bring their questions (and their lunch) and learn from other members by sharing information, knowledge, and experiences through informal discussions on a variety of business-related topics.
