RUMFORD — Kristen Blais, daughter of John and Linda Blais, recently completed an internship in magnetic resonance imaging at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She is currently employed in her radiologic specialty in the Bangor area.

John Blais, son of John and Linda Blais, graduated on April 30 from Maine Maritime Academy with a bachelor’s degree in marine engineering operations. He is currently fulfilling his graduation commitment by participating in his 60-day regimental training cruise in Europe. He has accepted a position with a shipping company based in Seattle, Wash., and will be working in the Dutch Harbor, Alaska area.
