CHESTERVILLE — Elmer A. Norton, 24, of Livermore Falls died Friday, July 29, in Chesterville.

He was born Sept. 29, 1986, in Farmington, the son of Clayton A. and Roxanne (Adley) Norton. He attended SAD 9 schools and worked as a handyman for family and friends.

Elmer enjoyed taking care of his dogs, listening to music and working on cars. He loved to hang out with friends and family, especially at the yearly pig roast. More than anything, Elmer loved Daymien Fournier, like a son.

Elmer is survived by his father and stepmother; his grandmother, Audrey Richards of Chesterville; his sister, Holly Norton of Farmington; his brothers, Leroy Norton, Leo Norton and his wife, Dottie and Daniel Shorey and his wife, Eliza; a niece, LeiAnne and a nephew, Dexter; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his mother in 2007.

Special thanks to Pam, who was like a mom to Elmer.
