College workshop

RUMFORD — The Maine Educational Opportunity Center will host a free workshop, “Essentials of College Planning,” for adults 19 and over at South Paris Career Center, 232 Main St., at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 8, and Rumford Career Center, 35 Congress St., at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16.

PERU — The Red Hat Mommas of Western Maine will go to Clara Allen’s camp at Worthley Pond on Friday, Aug. 12.
