BETHEL — The SAD 44 Adult and Continuing Education program will hold its 2011 commencement ceremony at the Telstar Regional High School library at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

“We expect to have seven students marching, of the 11 total graduating students, in Thursday’s ceremony,” Jean Waite, director of the program, said.

“We expect to have between 60 to 75 friends and family members in attendance as well,” Waite said, “to celebrate this major milestone for the graduates.”

Thursday’s keynote speaker will be Roberta Taylor.

Taylor is a SAD 44 board member, elementary school teacher and dedicated lifelong learner, Waite said.

The student speaker will be Sheena Bourgeois of Gilead, Waite said.

Thursday’s event will also feature a potluck buffet for the graduates, friends and families.

The public is invited to attend.
