DIXFIELD — Neighborly Senior Citizens met on July 20 at th Dixfield Legion Hall. The session was called to order by President Connie Tutlis, who gave several readings followed by the salute to the flag and the singing of “God Bless America.”

Marge Harlow gave the secretary’s report and Bob Richard gave the treasurer’s report. July birthdays were celebrated by Harry Richard, Rose Richard and Eleanor Dunham. Celebrating July anniversaries were Henry and Pricilla Dupill, 59 years, and Marc and Carleen Dupuis, 48 years.

Door prize winners were Bob Dunham and Connie Tutlis, who was a first time winner in 33 years of membership. Entertainment was by the Crosbys. Sympathy cards were signed for Larry and Edna Kerr and Mike and Karen Walsh.

Due to circumstances, the group will no longer meet at the Legion Hall. The next meeting will be held at 11 a.m. the third Tuesday on the month, Aug. 16, at the Calvin P. Lyons Room at the Mexico Town Hall. A potluck dinner will be held at noon.

Neighborly Senior will celebrate 42 years in October. New members are welcome.
