Accidents
Lewiston
* Vehicles driven by Lynn A. Asselin, 56, of Lewiston and Douglas A. Lauffenburger, 58, of Cambridge, Mass., collided, 9:40 p.m. Monday on East Avenue. Asselin’s 1991 Chevrolet SUV was functionally damaged; Lauffenburger’s 2005 Subaru was towed due to disabling damage.
* A vehicle driven by Joshua J. Bragdon, 34, of Naples struck a vehicle parked by Donald R. Rioux, 35, of Poland, 3:59 p.m. Monday on Lisbon Street. The truck driven by Bragdon and owned by Ryder of Hermon was not visibly damaged. Rioux’s 2008 Dodge pickup truck was functionally damaged.
* A motorcycle driven by Griffin H. Segall, 44, of Lewiston hit sand and landed on its side on the opposite side of the road, 9:36 a.m. Friday on Ashmont Street. Segall’s 2006 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was functionally damaged.
Auburn
* Vehicles driven by Jamie L. Hinkley, 29, of Lewiston and Larry Haynes, 60, of Sabattus collided, 4:01 p.m. Friday on Pleasant Street. Hinkley’s 2000 Mercury was functionally damaged. Haynes’ 2011 GMC pickup truck had minor damage.
* A car driven by Charlene J. Kemp, 59, of Sabattus swerved to avoid a flock of wild turkeys, crossed the center line, went off the road and came to rest on a tree, 8:17 a.m. Saturday on Lewiston Junction Road. Kemp’s 1998 BMW was functionally damaged.
