The 1846 Minot Center Congregational Church will hold its annual summer services at 9 a.m. Sundays, Aug. 7, 14, 21 and 28. The historic church is in its original condition. The original floors were boards, but in 1908, tapestry style rugs were installed over them. The peal of the 844-pound bell will ring to announce the service openings. The bell was rung for the first time on March 6, 1853, and continues each year for the August sessions. The church is located at the corner of Center Minot Hill Road and Jackson Hill Road. The pastor is Francis Lodge. All denominations are invited to attend.
