LEWISTON — A funeral Mass honoring the life of Gratia I. Pomerleau was celebrated on Thursday at Holy Cross Church, following prayers at the Pinette and Lynch Funeral Home. The Rev. Nathan March celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. At the beginning of the Mass, Cecile Thornton and Ron Bilodeau placed the burial pall on Grace’s casket. The first reading and the prayer of the faithful was read by Denny Cottrell. The offertory was brought to the altar by Kim and Dan Pomerleau. Pallbearers were Denny Cottrell, Whit Smith, Ron Bilodeau and Bob, Ron and Dan Pomerleau. A reception of fellowship was held at the Chick-A-Dee Restaurant following the committal services at the cemetery.
