LEWISTON — Sally Jean Chase, 71, of 74 Lake Auburn Drive, Auburn, died Thursday, Aug. 4, at the Marshwood Nursing Home in Lewiston.

Born in Farmington on May 20, 1940, she was the daughter of Richard Sr. and Jeanette Sawtell Chase. Educated in Brockton, Mass. schools, she was a graduate of Brockton High School. She worked for many years in electronics manufacturing prior to retiring due to disability in 1999.

Since moving to Maine 11 years ago, she has been active in the Lake Auburn Volunteer Association, and enjoyed attending bible study groups and services at the Pathway Vineyard Church in Lewiston.

Survivors include three brothers, Warren Chase of Burlington, Vt., Gary Bousquet of Plymouth, Mass., and Michael Bousquet of Cape Cod, Mass.; three sisters, Sandra Bernier of Dixfield, Simone Bousquet of Plymouth, Mass., and Jean Marie Bousquet of Manchester, N.H.; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Richard Chase Jr.
