GREENE — Betty J. Bubier, 77, of Phil’s Way, in Greene died Monday, Aug. 8, at her home.

She was born in Lewiston, May 18, 1934, the daughter of Orland H. Sr. and Hazel Ford Field. Betty graduated from Lewiston High School in 1952; she then attended Bliss Business College graduating in 1954. She went to work for Central Maine Medical Center in the business office, where she worked for more than 30 years.

On June 20, 1953, in Monmouth, she and Phillip E. Bubier were married. Betty enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and her great-grandchildren; the Bubier’s had their family reunion on Sunday and Betty was so happy to have her family all around her.

She is survived by her husband, Phillip E. Bubier of Greene; a daughter, Deborah Giroux and her husband, Edward, of Greene; five sons, Jeffery and his wife, Jeannine, of Greene, Emery and his wife, Holly, of Poland, Dale and his wife, Colleen, of New Gloucester, Brian and his wife, Lisa, of Monmouth and James of Greene; 15 grandchildren, Ryan, Todd, Tara, Keith, Jennifer, Joshua, Rebekah, Heather, Sarah, Melissa, Caleb, Alec, Autumn-Rose, Kaylee and Brianna; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Donna Smiley and her husband, Hazen, of Greene and Suzanne Christensen of Auburn; and a brother, Orland “Bub” H. Field Jr., of Greene.

She was predeceased by her parents.
