Remembering

STRATTON — Thomas MacDonald’s wife Ise will remember her husband, one of the Dead River Area Historical Society’s founding members and lifelong historian, during a program on Sunday, Aug. 14, at the society.

When MacDonald attended meetings he always had a story about something or someone of days gone by.

The special day is not presentation, but a gathering of people knowledgeable about the featured subject. The museum is open weekends from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
