RUMFORD — Patrol officers responded to 200 complaints between 5 p.m. July 24 and 5 p.m. Aug. 7.

Wanted

Jay Walsh, 33, Rumford is wanted on several warrants for unpaid fines for theft, operating after suspension and unlawful possession of drugs. The warrants are dated April 13 and July 18, 2011. Arrests/summonses

July 27 at 2:18 a.m., Justin Freeman, 19, of Mexico was arrested by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Falmouth Street on a charge of furnishing liquor to a juvenile. Freeman was charged additionally with illegal possession of alcohol by a minor, illegal possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Freeman is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 6.

July 27 at 2:18 a.m., 14-year-old Rumford female was summonsed by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Falmouth Street on a charge of illegal possession of alcohol by a juvenile. She is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 6,

July 28 at 1:30 p.m., Christopher Myles, 39, of Mexico was arrested by Sgt. Douglas Maifeld on River Street on a warrant charging failure to pay fines for violation conditions of release. Myles was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

July 28 at 4:24 a.m., Alan Comeau, 62, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Dave Hodgson on Waldo Street on a charge of disorderly conduct. Comeau who was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 4.

July 28 at 11:27 p.m., Brice Gammon, 30, of Andover was summoned by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Route 2 on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Gammon is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 4.

July 29 at 3:21 p.m., Jesse Farrington, 27, of Andover was summoned by Sgt. Tracey Higley on Andover Road on a charge of assault. Farrington is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 6.

July 29 at 8:20 p.m., Patricia Paquette, 56, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Joseph Sage on Rumford Avenue on a charge of domestic violence assault. Paquette posted $1,000 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 4.

July 30 at 1:47 a.m., Carlton Gallant, 26, of Lewiston was arrested by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Maine Avenue on a charge of operating under the influence. Gallant posted $800 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 4.

July 31 at 9:26 a.m., Sara Roberts, 32, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Maine Avenue on warrants charging failure to appear for violation conditions of release and operating after suspension. Roberts posted $750 cash bail and was released.

July 31 at 2:02 p.m., Peter Gordon, 33, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Sunnyside Terrace on a warrant charging failure to pay fines for operating after suspension. Gordon was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

July 31 at 3:23 p.m., Gregg Gibbons, 24, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. Tracey Higley on River Street on a warrant charging failure to appear. Gibbons was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

Aug. 1 at 9:28 a.m., Joseph Downs, 57, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Erchles Street on a charge of operating after suspension. Downs posted $300 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 8.

Aug. 1 at 12:54 p.m., Nicholas Davis, 41, of Wiscasset was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Hancock Street on a charge of violation conditions of release. Davis who was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov 8.

Aug. 1 at 12:54 p.m., Ronnie Guy, 42, of Phoenix Arizona was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Hancock Street on a charge of operating after suspension. Guy posted $1,000 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 8.

Aug. 2 at 9:40 p.m., Nicholas Varnum, 21, of Mexico was arrested by acting  Cpl. Donald Miller on Cumberland Street on a charge of violation of bail. Varnum was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail. He is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 4.

Aug. 3 at 12:45 a.m., Daniel Lavorgna, 41, of Mexico was arrested by acting. Cpl. Donald Miller on Lincoln Avenue on a charge of operating under the influence and violation conditions of release. Lavorgna is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 8.

Aug. 3 at 1:05 p.m., Michael Gould, 21, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Sunnyside Terrace on a warrant charging failure to appear for cultivating marijuana and violation conditions of release. Gordon was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

Aug. 4 at 7:55 p.m., Eve Roberts, 42, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Michael Belanger on Rumford Avenue on a charge of domestic violence assault. Roberts posted $800 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 6.

Aug. 4 at 10:05 p.m., Jessica Rice, 31, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Michael Belanger on Erchles Street on a charge of burglary and theft. Rice posted $1,200 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Superior Court in South Paris on Nov. 8.

Aug. 5 at 1:25 a.m., Christopher Huard, 34, of Mexico was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Falmouth Street on a charge of operating under the influence. Huard, who was additionally charged with possession of marijuana and attaching false plates, posted $800 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 8.

Aug. 5 at 3:25 p.m., Jacob Lane, 29, of Mexico was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Route 2 on a charge of operating after suspension. Lane, who was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 8.

Aug. 6 at 4:02 a.m., Jonathan Edwards, 35, of Rumford was summonsed by Patrolman Joseph Sage on Hancock Street on a charge of violation conditions of release. Edwards is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 4.

Aug. 6 at 2:25 p.m., John Siciliana, 25, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Scott Landis on Falmouth Street on a charge of domestic violence assault. Siciliana posted $1,500 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 6.

Aug. 6 at 9:48 p.m., Eve Roberts, 42, of Rumford was summonsed by acting Cpl. Donald Miller on Cumberland Street on a charge of violation conditions of release. Roberts is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 4.

Assault

July 30 at 8:57 p.m., Cpl. Lawrence Winson investigated an assault at the carnival at the River Valley Crossing. The two female juveniles were summoned.

Aug. 4 at 5:05 p.m., Patrolman Brad Gallant investigated an assault on Rumford Avenue. The victim refused to press charges.

Burglary

July 27 at 4:30 p.m., Patrolman Dave Hodgson investigated burglary of a residence on Hancock Street. Medication valued at $150 was stolen.

July 29 at 12:21 a.m., Patrolman Joseph Sage investigated an incident on Cumberland Street of an apartment door being kicked in and a person assaulted. The three suspects have been identified and arrest warrants are being sought.

Criminal mischief

July 29 at 3:12 p.m., Sgt. James Bernard investigated an incident where a parked vehicle on Hancock Street was scratched. No damage estimate listed.

Aug. 6 at 10:17 p.m., Patrolman Joseph Sage investigated an incident where four tires were cut on a parked vehicle on Hancock Street. The damage was estimated at $700.

Aug. 6 at 7 p.m., acting Cpl. Donald Miller investigated an incident where a railing was broke on Prospect Avenue. The damage was estimated at $50.

Theft

July 26 at 9:24 a.m., Rumford dispatch took a report of a theft of a hammock from a Penobscot Street residence. Estimated loss valued at $250.

July 28 at 5:46 p.m., Patrolman Joseph Sage investigated the theft of two bags of ice valued at $4 from a business on Hancock Street.

July 29 at 4:05 p.m., Patrolman Joseph Sage is investigating the theft of a computer from Rumford Avenue. The loss estimate is $900.

Aug. 6 at 10:56 p.m., Patrolman Joseph Sage investigated the theft of a bicycle valued at $150 from a business on Oxford Avenue.
