PARIS — The following arrests were logged at the Oxford County jail:

* Nelson E. Brown, 59, of Fryeburg, Aug. 8, assault, released on personal recognizance, Fryeburg Police Department.

* William A. Martin, 21, of Livermore Falls, Aug. 8, burglary, theft and criminal mischief, $1,000 cash bail, Maine State Police.

* Jessica L. Nichols, 30, of Norway, Aug. 8, theft, $100 cash bail, Oxford Police Department.

* Elmer D. Smith, 68, of Norway, Aug. 8, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, $200 cash bail, Oxford County Sheriff’s Office.
