WILTON — A local man was arrested Tuesday on charges of violating a protection order and violating bail conditions, police said.
Police issued a warrant for the arrest of Timothy Greenlaw, 40, on Monday night after authorities received a call at about 11:45 p.m. about a possible protection order and bail violation.
Wilton police and other departments searched for Greenlaw who was found in West Farmington and taken to the Franklin County Detention Center, according to a release from Richard H. Billian Jr., interim chief of the Wilton Police Department.
Greenlaw’s bail conditions stem from an arrest last week on charges of domestic criminal mischief and refusing to submit to arrest. The court provided a protection order barring Greenlaw from contacting family members.
He was released from jail last week on $3,000 unsecured bail.
