RYE, N.H. — Rosemarie Boucher, 68, died Monday, Aug. 8, at her Rye home following a lengthy illness.
She was born Dec. 7, 1942, in Rumford, the daughter of the late Frank and Bernice (Belskis) Belskis. Raised in Rumford, she was a 1961 graduate of Rumford High School.
Mrs. Boucher worked many years as a legal secretary for several law offices in New York, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. She was a member of the Society of the Sacred Heart Priests.
She enjoyed gardening, biking, walking and the beach.
Family members include her husband of 32 years, Henry J. “Hank” Boucher Jr. of Rye; a son, John Roderick of White River Junction, Vt.; three daughters, Nancy Cloutier and her husband, Kevin, of Windham, Tina D’Angelo of Dallas, Texas, and Denise Campbell and her husband, Shannon, of Daniel Island, S.C.; two stepsons, Jeffrey Boucher and his wife, Kathleen, of Salisbury, N.H., and Brian Boucher and his wife, Alison, of Nottingham, N.H.; four brothers, Frank Belskis of Bangor, John Belskis of Jay, Paul Belskis of Oregon, and Joe Belskis of Rumford; four sisters, Annie Richard, Stella Philbrick, Cecilia Gallant and Shirley Legere, all of Rumford; 12 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her brother, David Belskis; and sister, Bernice Comeau.
