FARMINGTON — Winnifred V. Libby, 90, died Aug. 8, at the Orchard Park Rehabilitation Living Center.

She was born April 2, 1921, in Skowhegan, the daughter of Soloman and Nellie (Wentworth) Stevens. She was educated in the schools of Farmington, graduating from Farmington High, Class of 1939. She married Arthur Libby in Farmington on Nov. 11, 1941. He died Feb. 19, 1964.

She was employed at Chassie’s Clothing Store for more than 30 years, PJ’s Clothing and later Mickey’s Hallmark for 17 years, retiring in 2003. She was a member of the Irene R. Luce Philathea Class of the Henderson Memorial Baptist Church. She was a member of Farmington Grange No. 12 for more than 60 years, National Grange, Excelsior Pamona Grange, Massachusetts State Grange and honorary member of the Juvenile Grange. Winnie enjoyed crafts, bingo, bowling and was an avid Red Sox fan.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Corson of Farmington; two grandchildren, Peter Corson and wife, Heather, of Farmington and Donna Hinkley and husband, Eric, of Farmington; a foster grandchild, Penny Brackett of West Farmington; five great-grandchildren, Letitia Merrill and husband, Chad, of New Vineyard, Virginia Healey and husband, Gregory, of Farmington, Brittany Doucette of Washington state, Victoria Corson of Farmington and Aricka Corson of Farmington; two foster great-grandchildren, James Brackett of Farmington and Agnes Brackett and companion, Elliott Barden; two great-great-grandchildren, Jakob Merrill of New Vineyard and Romeo Healey of Farmington; and a sister, Jennie Martin and husband, Raynald, of Bangor.

Winnie was predeceased by sisters, Elizabeth Bryant and Eleanor Stevens; a brother, Milburn Stevens; and a son-in-law, Donald Corson.
